Trafalgar Dinner Saturday 17th October 2015
The Trafalgar Dinner this year was held in Portsmouth. Full details of the evening will be published in the Kedge Anchor.
AGM and Members’ Day Saturday 16th May 2015
The AGM and Members’ Day was held at the Society of Antiquaries of London, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London.
The Cecil Isaacson Memorial Lecture was given this year by Richard Holdsworth MBE, Preservation and Education Director of Chatham Historic Dockyard. The title of which was ‘The Historic Dockyard, Chatham: Birthplace of Victory and British success at sea during the age of sail’.
This AGM and Members’ Day was another successful event and greatly enjoyed by a very large number of members
Emma Hamilton’s Birthday April 2015
An event to celebrate the birth of Emma Hamilton in her home town of Neston, The Wirral, Cheshire, was organised as a weekend event. Many places connected to Emma were visited and a memorial to her was unveiled.
This was a hugely successful event and greatly appreciated and enjoyed all those who attended. So much so, requests have been made for a similar event to be organised sometime in the future.
