The following is a selection of some of the Club’s past events. Annual Trafalgar Dinner Saturday 26th October 2019

The 1805 Club and Milford-on-Sea Historical Record Society Friday 5th July 2019

The AGM and Members’ Day was held once again at the East Indian Club in London.
The Cecil Isaacson Memorial Lecture was delivered by Tom Fremantle, entitled “King of New South Wales” which does not refer to George III but to the 3rd Governor of NSW, Captain P G King RN, and the role of the Navy in the founding of Australia 1787-1807.

College of Arms, London Wednesday 6th February 2019
An evening visit was arranged to the College of Arms in London. This was well attended and proved to be an extremely interesting and enjoyed by all.
Wreath laying to the Immortal Memory – St Paul’s Cathedral, London Sunday 6th January 2019
As last year, members have the opportunity to attend the formal wreath laying ceremony by the First Sea Lord and Chief of the Naval Staff (or his representative) in the crypt of St Paul’s Cathedral to commemorate the death of Admiral Lord Nelson.
The ceremony was designed by The 1805 Club in conjunction with the Royal Navy, Sea Cadet Corps and the Dean of St Paul’s. Wreaths will be laid by: The First Sea Lord or his Representative, The Royal Naval Association, The Sea Cadets Corps, and The Society for Nautical Research.
After the official wreath laying ceremony, which will last about 15 minutes, there will be a short ceremony at the tomb of Admiral Lord Collingwood.
