The vault of Alexander Davison, Nelson’s prize agent Northumbria. (Grade II Listed)
Alexander Davison was Lord Nelson's prize agent and friend. Had it not been for his intervention, it is said, Nelson may well have left the service whilst still a young Captain.
The Georgian vault housing the coffins of Davison and his family was restored in 1996 at a cost of £2518.
The preserving the stone work. Phase 2 includes the improvement of the surrounding paving and kerbs.
