Replica of Nelson's dress uniform
To complement the Register, a replica of Nelson's dress uniform has been hand-tailored and most generously donated to the 1805 Club for Nevis, by Royal Tailor, Mr Keith Levett.
As both the Register and the Uniform are ultimately to be placed on permanent display at the Historical and Conservation Society building in Nevis, where the climate is tropical, it is imperative that they are housed within a constant moisture-controlled environmental display cabinet, that maintains a dry air-tight atmosphere. The 1805 Club has the challenge to raise £20,000 to meet this requirement.
